Monkey as a pet?

I personally think that a monkey will not make a good pet. Sure some people think they are cute to have around because some people would like to dress them up and treat them as if they were their own kid, but a monkey is a wild animal it cant be domesticated. Ive heard some gruesome stories on monkeys one for example wa when a lady was going to her car and her neighbor had a monkey as a pet, while she was walking to her car she noticed that the monkey wasn;t its usual self that day. All of a sudden she saw that the monkey was running toward her angry, the monkey then got on top of her and started to scratch, beat and bite the lady. All the ldy could do was scream for help because she couldnt get the monkey off of her, then an officer came and the monkey started attacking the officer. The officer got a bad injury on her arm but the other lady got he faced disfigured.After that attack she no longer has a face her eyes are gone, her nose was moved to the side. She now lives wearing a mask for the rest of her life. This is one reason why i think monkeys do not make good pets.
