"The Bat Who Couldn't Fly"

Tom Tom was the only adolescent bat who could not fly. All his little friends where the same age as he was and they all had the ability to fly. Whenever Tom Tom would see them fly he would get sad and hop to his mom saying "Mommy why cant I fly?" His mom sadly did not have the answer so she would tell him"Tom Tom you can fly you just have to try hard and believe in yourself that you can do it!" As days went on Tom Tom would try to fly everyday, sometimes he would fall from the tree nest and his mommy or daddy had to fly down and carry him back onto the nest. Whenever this would happen Tom Tom would not want to fly anymore, he would give up. Tom Tom had a friend who's name was Clara who he really liked, but the only way he could get to Clara was by flying to her. Clara became Tom Tom's motivation and before he knew that motivation took him far because as days went on Tom Tom could fly farther and saty in the air longer. Before he knew it Tom Tom could fly like the rest of his friends and the first thing he did was he went flying to Clara to show her what he had accomplished because of her.
